Sadhu Singh Khalsa

September 19, 1947 – June 13, 2025

Sadhu Singh was born in Texas City, Texas. On his soul’s journey, he played many roles – painter, herbalist, builder, teacher, entrepreneur, author, and most of all, seeker.

In 1971 the sacred path of Sikh Dharma called to him in Houston, Texas, where he began his lifelong devotion to Kundalini Yoga. Through breath work, mantra, and service, Sadhu shaped a life rooted in healing, reverence, and creation.

For thirteen years, Sadhu lived and served at the Baltimore, Maryland ashram. He then moved to Arizona where he opened a restaurant. After moving back to Maryland, he expanded and shared his herbalism and healing practices. His most successful product is “R&B Natural Spider Bite Treatment”, which is available on Amazon.

Eventually he shared his heart with Mary “Mama Mary” Phillips, whom he married in 2015. She was the love of his life, and her passing in 2017 deepened his spiritual walk. He continued to immerse himself in the teachings of Yog Bhajan and moved to Espanola, NM to be with the Sangat. He wrote and published the story of his life, “Homeward to the Age of Aquarius, a Personal Search for Universal Truth”.

With his hands, he built. With his herbs, he healed. With his voice, he chanted. With his presence, he taught. His soulful companionship touched many lives. His final journey ended with grace. It was his wish to be in hospice care at home, and he was able to remain there until the day before he passed, being cared for by friends and Sangat. He left this earthly plane at peace returning to the Infinite Light from which he came.
